Inspired by our family cottage "Beehive Cottage" our honeycomb shade and base celebrates all the hard work that the bees go to, in creating honey.
Each shade has a random honeycomb pattern stitched in mustard thread, using free motion embroidery. Set on the comb is a series of small bees that have been stitched at varying angles. The PVC back has been cut away at various parts of the comb, which allows the light to shine through when lit.
The complimentary base has a bee etched into the surface of a repurposed oak newel post.Our bee design has been etched into the columns; spread across two faces, making the square base stunning from multiple angles. Each engraving looks slightly different due to placement and the grain of the wood. Each base comes with brass fittings, a black flex and UK plug.

Our newel posts come in a variety of heights, these range between 25cm and 29cm. We can not unfortunately guarantee what height you will receive.
